KWIK BOND
Wet mix ready to use brick/block mortar


KWIK BOND is a single component wet mix, ready to use, anti-sagging, brick/block mortar. It contains organic and inorganic inert fillers, aggregates and organic binding material. It is self-curing and does not require to be sprinkled with water. It can be used as a substitute for sand-cement mortar, thus making it highly Eco-Friendly.

Cement materials have some major deficiencies that limit their usefulness. KWIK BOND is especially designed to combat the shortcomings of sand-cement mortar, particularly its low flexural strength and , low impact strength

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be clean of all loose material like dirt, dust etc. Surface should be pre-wetted for smooth application of material. Pre-wetting ensures better workability, smoother application and higher coverage. All joints of bricks/blocks should be properly finished before application of material.

MIXING OF MATERIAL
» KWIK BOND comes in a pre-mixed, wet paste form and as such, no water needs to be added to the mixture.
» If required, very little water can be added to the mix to improve the workability.
» Entire material from the bag should be removed in a clean container and mixed thoroughly with a spatula to ensure    a uniform mix.

APPLICATION METHOD
• Application should be carried out with the help of a trowel.
• Material can be applied in thickness of 24-36 mm layer.
• Material should be evened out to after apllication.
• Care should be taken not to before earlier layers have fully dried as this may lead to

COVERAGE
Coverage of wall area that can be constructed from one bag of 15 kgs of KWIK BOND is approximately sq. m. for an average thickness of 34 mm under normal conditions. The coverage of material may vary depending on the thickness of the coat applied and quality of the substrate.

CURING OF
KWIK BOND does not require any water curing.

CLEANING OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENTS
Tools and equipments can be easily cleaned with water.
