ACRELAST
100% Acrylic Elastomeric Exterior Emulsion
ACRELAST is a 100% Acrylic Elastomeric exterior wall finish. It forms a flexible coating that can withstand the expansion and contraction of exterior walls without cracking or peeling. It can bridge very fine cracks in the wall thereby preventing water penetration and forming a waterproof layer. It gives a rich finish with exceptional durability. It is extremely resistant to fungus and algae.
PROPERTIES
ACRELAST is formulated with a special 100% Acrylic emulsion that gives it a high amount of elasticity and durability. Its unique properties include:

» smoother surface that reduces dirt deposition and gives a cleaner appearance

RECOMMENDED USES
ACRELAST can be used on exterior masonry surfaces requiring a crack bridging waterproof coating with exceptional durability.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be first cleaned of dirt, fungi, algae and loose paint. Water jetting and application of a suitable fungicidal solution to completely remove the already present fungi and algae should follow this. Cracks wider than 0.3mm must be filled with a suitable sealant. The surface must be allowed to dry before the primer or paint is applied. CEMENT PAINT MUST NOT BE USED AS PRIMER. If cement paint is used as a primer the paint will lose its durability. Only Legacy Primer or Acrelast Sealer, depending on the substrate, must be used as a surface sealer.
APPLICATION
Can be applied by brush, spray or roller. Thinning should be done with clean water. Add 150-200 ml of water to 1 litre of paint for finishing coats. A time period of 4-6 hours should be allowed between two coats.
COVERING CAPACITY
This will depend upon the method of application and nature of the substrate. ACRELAST covers 8 - 9 sq.meters per litre per coat.

ACRELAST is available in 20 litres and 4 litres packing.
